The package removal operation implies package disappearing from the operating system. As we said in section 5.2.1, the decision to remove the configuration files is a package manager issue.
Often, as a package is removed, its reverse dependencies are uninstalled
too. If the user wants to check them before the removal operation
is run, he can visit their subtrees starting from
entries placed inside each package location.
