Removal

The package removal operation implies package disappearing from the operating system. As we said in section 5.2.1, the decision to remove the configuration files is a package manager issue.

Often, as a package is removed, its reverse dependencies are uninstalled too. If the user wants to check them before the removal operation is run, he can visit their subtrees starting from $ \texttt{DEPEND\_FOR}$ entries placed inside each package location.
